Returns and exchanges
We want you to feel good about every Odd Volume Comics order. If something is not right, email hello@oddvolumecomics.com with your order number and a short description of the issue.
Return window
You can request a return within 30 days of the delivery date.
Condition of items
Books must come back in the condition they arrived in: no new spine stress, creasing, writing, or stickers, and returned in their original bag and board or similar protective packaging. Graded and slabbed books must be returned in an unopened case.
If we got the grade wrong
We describe books conservatively and photograph the flaws that matter. If a book arrives in materially worse condition than listed, that is our error. We cover return shipping and refund you in full, or send a replacement copy if we have one.

- Sealed trading card and gaming product once the seal is broken
- Personalized or special order items
Preorders
You can cancel a preorder for a full refund any time before it ships. Publishers move release dates and occasionally cancel books outright. If a preorder is cancelled by the publisher, we refund you automatically.
Return shipping
Unless the item arrived damaged or we made an error, you are responsible for the cost of return shipping. Please use a trackable service and pack the book properly, as we cannot refund items that arrive back damaged or do not arrive at all.
Refunds
Once your return arrives and we have checked it over, we will email you to confirm whether the refund is approved. Approved refunds go back to your original payment method. Processing times vary by bank or card issuer.
Damaged in transit
If your order arrives damaged or you receive the wrong item, contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos of the book and the packaging so we can make it right quickly.
